Lanes blocked on Northern Blvd. following fuel spill | Transportation

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - One lane of traffic in each direction on the Northern Blvd. will be blocked for a short time this morning following an accident involving a flat-bed truck and a passenger vehicle.

The crash, which happened at the intersection of the Northern Blvd. and Emory Folmar Blvd., resulted in minor injuries.

The truck's fuel tank was punctured and a small amount of fuel was spilled on to the roadway. Fire and Rescue crews had to lay hoses, blocking one lane in each direction on the boulevard until the hoses can be removed.
