South Carolina man dies from injuries sustained in Jan. 15 crash
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers say a South Carolina man has died as a result of the injuries he sustained in a crash on U.S. 231 on Jan. 15.
Authorities say 63-year-old Williamston, SC resident, Charles Roy Street, died Saturday from injuries he sustained in an accident on Tuesday, January 15.
Troopers say Street sustained the injuries when the 2012 Freightliner he was driving left the roadway on U.S. 231 at the 97 mile marker, went down an embankment and struck a tree.
No additional information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
