MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP)- A state commission has revoked the liquor license of a Montgomery nightclub where six people were shot.

The hearing commission of the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board took the action Thursday against the Rose Supper Club.

The commission found the club had created a substantial risk of harm to the public health, welfare, safety and morals.

Five people were shot inside the club and one was shot outside the club on Dec. 3. Police say the shootings stemmed from an altercation.

One of the shooting victims was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

The ABC Board suspended the liquor license three days after the shooting.

That license suspension led to the revocation hearing Thursday. The club can appeal the board's decision.
