Child injured in hit-and-run | News
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident that sent a child to the hospital with an ankle injury.
Authorities say an 8-year-old was struck by a red pick-up truck this afternoon at the intersection of Harrison and Green Ridge Road.
The child received a "very minor" injury to the ankle and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He is expected to be OK.
