MPD Officer involved in accident while responding to a call
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A Montgomery Police Officer was involved in a traffic accident at the intersection of South Court Street and the West Blvd.
Witnesses say the officer was crossing through the intersection with siren and lights on when a passenger vehicle struck the officer. Witnesses added the driver or the civilian vehicle's vision was blocked by an 18-wheeler when they pulled in front of the officer.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
