Montgomery woman killed in Sunday morning crash
MONTGOMERY CO., AL (WSFA) - A single-vehicle crash in the early hours of Sunday morning claimed the life of a Montgomery woman and injured another person.
Alabama State Troopers say 25-year-old Ashely Nicole Barns was killed in an accident off of AL 110, two miles east of Montgomery, around 5 a.m. Sunday. Barns was the passenger in a 2001 Honda Accord driven by Roosevelt King.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. King was transferred to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No additional information is available at this time as authorities continue to investigate.
