WSFA 12 News reporter Tametria Conner named V.I.P. "Facebook Friend of the Month" | News
WSFA 12 News reporter and anchor, Tametria Conner, is June's "V.I.P. Facebook Friend of the Month."
Back in March Tametria did a story on a visually impaired man who had trouble voting independently with the Automark machine. The elderly man needed help and thought the poll worker helped him too much by voting for him instead of being able to enter the vote on his own.
Tametria's story covered him in action voting and how the process is supposed to work. Tametria even did a feature story on the Automark after watching the man have his issues.
Because of Tametria Conner promoting assistive technology for the visually impaired, she is our V.I.P. Facebook Friend of the Month for June.
Thanks Tametria for a job well done promoting a device that can help the visually impaired vote independently and lead a normal life. You have helped thousands of visually impaired people know they have rights to vote and to use the Automark machine to mark their ballot the way they want to. Keep up the good work and thanks for promoting the visually impaired and keep finding good stories like this that can help others become independent.
