Marketing Firm Donates Expertise To Montgomery Non-Profits | News
Montgomery, AL - LWT, a Montgomery, AL-based marketing and interactive firm, will donate over 500 hours of creative services to aid non-profit organizations in an intense 24-hour creative blitz known as CreatAthon™. During this annual event, LWT provides services to selected non-profits that could include strategic marketing planning, brand development, copywriting and design on projects such as websites, print advertising and collaterals, broadcast advertising such as TV and radio as well as social media. In celebrating their 11th year of involvement with CreatAthon™, LWT will expand the geographic reach outside the River Region of Alabama into the following southeastern markets: Birmingham, AL: Mobile, AL; Columbus, GA; and Destin, FL.
"After focusing on Central Alabama non-profits and delivering projects for over 90 organizations over the last 10 years, we were surprised to discover that advertising firms in other markets where we work are not offering the CreateAthon™ program to their local non-profits," stated David Allred, partner with LWT. “Because LWT also works with clients in these areas we have decided to expand our CreateAthon™ program in 2012 to non-profit organizations in four additional cities.”
Deadline to nominate is June 29, 2012. This year’s CreateAthon™ event will be held at the firm’s Montgomery offices on September 20-21, 2012.
Please visit LWTGivesBack.com to nominate an organization in your market. The nominated organizations will be contacted and invited to apply for free marketing services. LWT will then choose three non-profit organizations from each community for the public to select a winner. The three nominated non-profits will be posted on LWT’s Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/lwtconnect for the public to select a winner.
An intense 24 hour creative blitz, CreateAthon™ is a program where marketing services are provided to non-profits on a pro bono basis. Annually, LWT provides in excess of $50,000 of pro-bono agency services prior to and during the CreateAthon™ event. This year will mark LWT’s 11th year of participation in CreateAthon™ and in 2012, the firm will celebrate its 53rd year in business.
