Senator Shelby to address Montgomery County residents tomorrow | Families
U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) will join the residents of Montgomery County for a “Meet & Greet” breakfast on Monday, February 4, 2013, at 7:30 am Central Time. The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at the RSA Activity Center located at 201 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama.
This will be Senator Shelby’s 1,749th county visit since his election to the U.S. Senate.
Senator Shelby will address the legislative agenda for the first session of the 113th Congress as well as important issues facing the nation and the state of Alabama. Following his remarks, Senator Shelby will open the floor to questions and comments from those in attendance.
“Over the years, these meetings have provided an excellent opportunity for area residents to listen and voice their opinions on the activities of our government,” said Shelby. “This will be a great chance to discuss the important issues facing our state and our nation.”
This meeting’s breakfast is sold out, however, the meeting is open to the public and seating will be made available. Members of the media are encouraged to attend.
