Reminder: March is clean-up month for District Seven | Environment

The month of March has been designated as clean up month for District Seven.  Residents and businesses in District Seven can take advantage of special garbage and trash removal service during this time only.  The sanitation department will remove all items, without extra charge, that are placed behind the curb except for loose leaves, dirt, building materials and tree branches exceeding four feet in length or eight inches diameter.  The Montgomery Clean City Commission will be supplying trash bags to groups organizing cleanups during our Great American Cleanup.

The Council members, the Sanitation Department, as well as the Montgomery Clean City Commission, are reminding residents that now is the time to "cut down, trim back, clean up, and throw away."
