Authorities say victim found on Foshee Road was shot to death | Crime
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Authorities now say the body that was found on the middle of Foshee Road on January 9 was shot to death.
Authorities responded to the 2700 block of Foshee Road around 5 a.m. on January 9 after receiving a call about a subject in the roadway. Upon arrival police found 39-year-old Cherokee Johnson who was pronounced dead on the scene.
Originally a cause of death for Johnson was not released saying the circumstances surrounding his death were unknown at the time. Montgomery Police now say that Johnson died of a gunshot wound.
This case is still under investigation, no additional information is available.
