Police seek public's help in finding domestic violence suspect

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a man they say is very violent.

James A. Perryman is wanted on a domestic violence assault, domestic violence harrassment and domestic violence harassing communication charges.

Police say Perryman should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. "The subject will fight," police say.  He's even accused of setting his ex-girlfriend's car on fire as a form of intimidation.

Perryman's last known address was 4219 Strathmore Drive in Montgomery, Alabama.

Perryman is 6'3" and weighs 200lbs.

If you have any information that could lead authorities to Perryman's arrest, call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP or the Montgomery Police Department.

Investigators say they want to bring Perryman in, "before he has a chance to hurt someone."
