Police seeking charges after Tuesday night club shooting | Crime
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery Police say they're presenting their findings to a Montgomery County Grand Jury this morning after an overnight shooting at the Rose Supper Club sent a man to the hospital.
Authorities say they responded to the 900 block of Highland Avenue around 3:00 a.m. on reports of a subject shot. A 38-year-old male was treated at the scene for two gunshot wounds to the leg, then transported to a local hospital for further treatment. His wounds are considered non-life threatening.
Police say the shooting resulted from a verbal altercation between the victim and the suspect. The Montgomery Police Department says a suspect has been interviewed and authorities plan on presenting their findings to a Montgomery County Grand Jury to press charges.
The investigation into this incident is continuing.
