MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery Catholic School student Henry Petters may not be a tyrannical rapscallion - but he can spell one!
Petters took away the top prize at the Montgomery County Spelling Bee held on Monday at Frazer United Methodist Church.
As part of his winnings, Petters took home a $300 prize and a spot in the Alabama State Spelling Bee coming up in March. The winner of that contest wins an all-expenses-paid trip to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to be held in Washington, D.C. in May.
Also taking home a prize - in second place was Baylee Perkins of Alabama Christian Academy and in third place, Quinn Lee of Baldwin Academy.
