An ASU faculty member was elected president-elect of a national business honor society at its annual meeting April 17-20 in Atlanta, and two ASU business and marketing education students attended the same event as delegates.

ASU faculty advisor to the Pi Omega Pi National Business Honor Society, Emma A. Faulk, assistant professor of Business Education, was elected president-elect of the honor society at its 43rd Biennial Convention. She will take office as president at the pre-biennial meeting in April 15-19, 2014 in Los Angeles.  

Attending the meeting with Faulk were seniors Keven Smith and Jana Brooks, where they attended numerous workshops and heard several keynote speakers discuss business and technology teaching topics.

MOBILE, AL (WSFA)- The announcement was made Tuesday morning that the LPGA Tour will be returning to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in Prattville in the fall of 2014.

The Senator Course at Capitol Hill will be home to the Alabama LPGA Classic presented by the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

The event is being sponsored by three companies that did not want any publicity, so the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is the glue holding the deal together. While the companies' names were not revealed, they are said to be out-of-state, American businesses.

It costs on average between $3 million to $4 million to run
an LPGA Tour. That cost is paid through ticket sales and cities. The actual purse for this tour will be $1 million and will be shared by the three
unidentified companies.
